That's quite reasonable cost-wise. It's worth mentioning that potential future silver demand 16,000 metric tons compares with 26,000 metric tons estimated global production of silver in 2023.

That would cost nearly $1,000,000 USD for 1,000 Kg silver in the battery. It would have to use much less silver to be practical.

1 kilogram of silver is about 35 ounces of silver. $27 per ounce that,s under $1000.00 per car. The original headline did say one kilo , kilo is short for kilogram
