The week kicked off a bit rocky.
Our content director, Jon Forrest Little, had a brief episode of concern over a Kitco video. He was had unfounded fears that a technical glitch during recording might be used to portray him in a negative light. His apprehension led to a series of emails to Kitco staff, including their owner. Emailing the owner was inviting unnecessary drama that was Jon’s poor decision. However, Michelle Makori, who Jon reached out to, played a crucial role in resolving the situation by confirming that there was no issue with the broadcast, putting Jon's mind at ease.
Jon, after Michelle's reassurance, was able to overcome his fears and backpedal, resorting to humor. This change in behavior was a relief to all of us.
Knowing Michelle was overseas, he told her, "Be careful when traveling overseas. The islanders attracted to your beauty and intelligence might not let you leave their island and insist you be their Queen."
