Gold and Silver Prices Will Drop Like a Rock Should this ever Happen
but the chances of this happening are slim and none
The "Fight of the Century" between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier took place on March 8, 1971, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
This highly anticipated bout was the first time two undefeated heavyweight champions faced each other.
Ali, known for his quick wit and media prowess, famously downplayed Frazier's chances by saying, "The chances of Frazier winning are slim and none, and slim just left town" .
Despite Ali's confidence and his initial dominance in the early rounds, Frazier's relentless aggression and powerful left hooks turned the tide. The fight went the full 15 rounds, with Frazier ultimately winning by unanimous decision, handing Ali his first professional loss and solidifying the bout's place in boxing history
Gold and Silver Prices Will Drop Like a Rock Should this ever Happen …
but the chances of this happening are slim and none - What is this?
People Trusting our System
Let’s read the room together.
We need to get into the habit of ceasing discussions like we have $35 trillion dollar debt because that minimizes the debt picture.
Throw in consumer and household debt, corporate debt, municipal debt, the commercial real estate looming collapse already underway (the mother of all crashes) Google the amount of derivate debt held by banks and your mind will be blown to smithereens.
The Biden Trump debacle. Never in my life of 61 years have I seen anything like this and I think you all know what I’m referring to. Just last week Biden’s press secretary told a room full of reporters that Biden’s debate performance ( dementia on full display) was due to jet lag and a cold (he had not been on a plane for past 12 days running up to the debate)
251 wars since 1991.
Who would have ever believed this metric?
Even the people we study as being the worse in history such as Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Nero, Alexander the Not so Great, etc can’t compare in evil when it comes to a nation that has fed off this blood.
We’re talking about members of Congress who have the power to stop such things but instead engage in insider trading to the extent that there is an app called AUTOPILOT where you can duplicate their stock trades ( Great idea)
Ecclesiastes tells us-
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
There is nothing new under the Sun
The profound statement from Ecclesiastes 1:9, "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun," offers a timeless perspective on the cyclical nature of human existence and history.
This verse suggests that despite the perception of progress and innovation, the fundamental aspects of life and human behavior remain constant throughout time. It implies that the experiences, challenges, and triumphs we face today are not inherently different from those encountered by our ancestors.
This wisdom encourages us to approach life with humility, recognizing that our struggles and achievements are part of a larger, recurring pattern of human experience. It also invites us to learn from the past, as the solutions to our current problems may well lie in the wisdom of those who came before us.
Learning from the Past
Never Trust the Kleptocrats - YOU ARE HERE
Kleptocracy, meaning "rule by thieves," represents a more extreme and corrupt form of governance where those in power exploit their positions to increase their personal wealth and status. In a kleptocratic system, the primary goal of the rulers is to loot the state's resources, through war profiteering, insider trading, embezzlement, nepotism, and cronyism, with little regard for the welfare of the general population. While democracies strive for equitable representation and plutocracies/aristocracies maintain power within a select group, kleptocracies are characterized by the outright theft of national resources by those in authority.
What we are seeing today is much worse than these stunts below because the stakes are higher (and the number of villagers wiped out will be much more bloody)
other infamous kleptocrats
Throughout history, there have been numerous examples of rulers who were severely out of touch with their citizens, often engaging in extravagant or bizarre behavior at the expense of their subjects. Here are some notable examples:Roman Emperors:
Caligula (37-41 CE) was notorious for his excesses and erratic behavior. He allegedly:
Appointed his horse, Incitatus, as a priest and planned to make it a consul
Built a floating bridge across the Bay of Baiae using ships, just to ride across it
Declared himself a living god and demanded to be worshipped
Nero (54-68 CE) was known for his artistic pursuits and extravagance:
He built an enormous palace complex called the Domus Aurea (Golden House) after the Great Fire of Rome, while many citizens were homeless
Allegedly "fiddled while Rome burned" during the fire (though this is likely apocryphal)
Forced nobles to perform in his theatrical productions
Commodus (180-192 CE) was obsessed with gladiatorial combat:
He frequently participated in gladiatorial games, charging the city exorbitant fees for his appearances
Renamed Rome "Colonia Commodiana" (Colony of Commodus)
Declared himself the reincarnation of Hercules and demanded to be worshipped
European Monarchs:
Louis XIV of France (1643-1715), known as the "Sun King," was famous for his opulence:
Built the Palace of Versailles, an enormous and incredibly lavish royal residence
Established elaborate court etiquette and rituals, including the "lever" (rising ceremony) where nobles would compete to help the king dress
Augustus II the Strong of Poland and Saxony (1670-1733):
Known for his physical strength, extravagant parties, and numerous mistresses
Held a contest to see which of his guards could decapitate more oxen with a single blow
Ludwig II of Bavaria (1864-1886):
Built several fantastical castles, including the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, which nearly bankrupted the royal treasury
Preferred to sleep during the day and be awake at night, often taking midnight sleigh rides
Tsar Nicholas II of Russia (1894-1917):
Lived in extreme luxury while much of the population suffered in poverty
Was largely unaware of the growing discontent among his subjects, which eventually led to the Russian Revolution
Again, none of the above examples of (out of touch) compare to what we are seeing today

Silver Sunday School lesson #4 was a doozy
Conclusion: Gold (and silver) pricing drops like a Rock when people trust the system, it soars to the Moon when they don’t
Always look forward to The Silver Academy Insights. I learn new things all the time that are not picked up elsewhere in the AG community. I am seeing other podcasters referring to The Silver Academy news they put out. They came on the scene late as I think the Ag community could have benefited greatly 10 years ago. But better late than never. Grateful.
