Size Matters when it comes to Silver Weight.

Saft Plant in France
Saft, a pioneer in Silver Batteries since its establishment in 1918 in Levallois-Perret, France, has been manufacturing for over 100 years.
Is it odd that this is your first time hearing this name? Not really. You are not supposed to know anything about Silver's use in the military or aerospace.
Saft is renowned for contributing to various industries, including defense applications like torpedoes.
There are much larger manufacturers, and Saft would be ranked a mid-range manufacturer. The largest producers of Silver Zinc batteries are in the US (Eagle Picher), China, India, South Korea, Japan, and Iran round out the top producers. There are over 20 major producers.
Saft's torpedo battery technologies include seawater-activated systems for combat torpedoes like the MK 44, A244, and Sting Ray, as well as silver-zinc and silver-oxide aluminum batteries for combat and exercise torpedoes such as the DM2A3, MK 37, A184, and Blackshark
Saft is not even close to being the largest manufacturer of silver batteries in the world, yet it sells to more than 15 navies.
In the video above, the technician discusses the cost issue, which aligns with our thesis that The Silver Institute was established to ensure low silver pricing for industrial users, a factor that significantly impacts Saft's battery technologies.
Beginning Tuesday of next week, we will start "dripping out some data" on Silver's massive use in military and aerospace, which is more dominant than Solar use.
Speaking of Solar, yesterday, we reported that our data shows 2024 Silver Solar would use between 320 and 350 million ounces.
Silver Institute forecasted only 160 million ounces for 2023 (a miss by over 100% and with them it’s always to the downside to misrepresent silver demand)
Because they feel the pressure of our data science, we expect they will use some "Disneyland accounting" to boost their number to around 300 million ounces for their 2024 report.
Let's see if we are right again.
